24-25 Skagit Land Trust Community Engagement AmeriCorps

This is an AmeriCorps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. Skagit Land Trust conserves natural and working lands for the benefit of our community. Skagit County is located between two growing metropolitan areas. Sprawl is causing a loss of natural land and placing our diverse ecosystems at risk. We aim to protect these critical habitats and integrate nature and communities. The member will support our work to educate the community on the value of conservation. They will also increase volunteer stewardship of Trust lands, with a special emphasis on engaging youth. If you are looking for an opportunity to build the skills needed for a career in conservation or community engagement, please apply. We expect to begin interviewing on a rolling basis in May. Monthly stipend amount: $2,276.
