2017-18 Data Coordinator

Milwaukee Succeeds is a community-wide partnership, whose vision is to ensure success for every child, in every Milwaukee school, cradle to career. The Greater Milwaukee Foundation serves as the backbone organization for Milwaukee Succeeds—lending its facilities, administrative services, financial resources, and community leadership to this initiative. In addition to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, four other organizations have pledged to support this initiative over the next five years: Northwestern Mutual, Bader Philanthropies, United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties, and Herb Kohl Charities. Milwaukee Succeeds uses a collective impact model designed to create systems change in the education sector across the city. Our partnership is comprised of representatives from over 300 schools, nonprofits, businesses, government, philanthropic organizations, and community members, working in collaborative action networks. These networks identify, align, and scale innovative strategies that move the needle on educational outcomes. This project will accomplish the following: 1. Improve data management practices within Milwaukee Succeeds networks and partner organizations 2. Develop and publish research on innovative and best practices 3. Develop innovative approaches for sharing data and research online.
