Member Duties : Our VISTA member will develop social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and more traditional media (TV, radio, newspapers, posters) messages that will be two-fold: to educate the poor and homeless members in our community about our services and also inspire and create a dialogue with potential new volunteers and sponsors. Our volunteer program builds capacity by using our community members who give time & talents to our programs. Volunteers are the heart of our agency. Recruitment is a critical activity for volunteer involvement. Finding the right volunteers makes all the difference in the success and impact of our programs. Our VISTA member will work to increase our volunteer base. Our VISTA member will also assist with our two major, in-house fundraisers on 11/4/2017 & 4/8/2018. Our work week is typically Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM, with occasional evening commitments and the Saturday or Sunday of our 2 major fundraisers. Bilingual helpful but not required.
