Clark County Public Health, Recycling Outreach Coord
Waste is unavoidable, but we can all do our part to help. Starting to notice how many one-time use and disposable products we use in our lives is a first step. Making adjustments to our purchasing habits, with an eye for these throw-away products and packaging, is the next step. Green Neighbors increases participants knowledge about environmentally conscious practices through community education, including the annual WasteBusters pledge. There is lots of room for creativity and development of new project concepts using social marketing techniques to encourage behavior change. Visit to learn more about our program. This position is contingent on funding. Applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received with interviews taking place until placement is filled.
