Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member will be part of the Clark County Green Business outreach team. In this role, they will develop and implement a communications strategy to raise awareness about recycling and composting. This project will include reaching out to businesses in person, on the phone, and at community events. The member will write social media messages, website content, articles and blog posts. They will assist businesses with projects to reduce their environmental impact and coordinate events to educate the business community about green practices. This position provides direct support to businesses seeking Green Business certification and assists with coordinating an annual sustainability celebration and recognition event.
