The Road Home is a private non-profit social service agency that assists individuals and families with children experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front. The mission of The Road Home is to assist families and individuals in stepping out of homelessness and back into the community. Last year, The Road Home provided emergency shelter to 7,219 individuals (men, women and children) as well as served 1,301 individuals through our housing programs. The Road Home is the sponsor of the TRH Pay for Success VISTA project which will help to implement The Road Home’s new Pay for Success Project, HNJ, which will help 315 persistently homeless individuals stabilize in housing.

Member Duties : The primary objective of the Pay for Success VISTA team member position is aid in the implementation of the Pay for Success project, HNJ. The VISTA team member will assist in creating forms, establishing processes and procedures, and identifying and creating referral pathways focused on serving individuals experiencing persistent homelessness. The HNJ project is a new and unique project in the United States and is the first of it’s kind to focus on the identified population know as persistently homeless.
