Arizona Serve - PUSD - Family and Community Engagement

Prescott Unified School District (PUSD) is a learning community built on a foundation of excellence that is more than a century old. PUSD provides the basic skills that every child needs to become a strong citizen, valued employee, entrepreneur, or leader of tomorrow. These skills are developed and refined through a rigorous academic curriculum enhanced by music, arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities. In addition, PUSD provides special needs services, transportation, and food services. Academic and enrichment programs are offered after school, online, and during the summer. Our vision is to be the most innovative, effective, and respected educational organization in the Prescott area. The plan for a VISTA member will coordinate programming and services that enhance community and family engagement in Prescott Unified School District (PUSD) as a part of the community’s response to poverty. The member will assess current practices, coordinate family engagement programming, publicize opportunities to the broader community, and develop partnerships. **Application are accepted on a rolling basis, so please do not wait until the deadline to apply.**
