Northeast BOCES "Individuals Reaching Success" VISTA

The Northeast Board of Cooperative Educational Services, referred to as Northeast BOCES, initiates programs and services to twelve member school districts in Northeast Colorado and their communities. There are strong efforts to support children, youth, families, and school staff with educational, instructional, and support programs to help individual children and young adults to reach success. The schools in this area are indeed rural, ranging in size from a total student population of approximately 100 students to the largest school district enrolling 800 students. The eligibility for Free and Reduced Lunch in the region ranges from 30-40% of school populations. Northeast BOCES is interested in building capacity to meet the needs of children and young adults impacted by low-income or poverty by completing community assessments, facilitating community awareness and engagement, expanding and strengthening partnerships and networks, gaining financial resources, and expanding or creating new programs.
