Are you ready to fight poverty and make a huge and lasting impact on the lives of residents of Upstate South Carolina? Work with Prisma Health to prepare a sustainable fundraising plan and help market educational opportunities. Collaborate with partners to increase public knowledge of partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Assess and document where mental health knowledge disparities exist for individuals with untreated or partially treated mental health conditions. Work with community partners and leaders to identify and/or create a resource virtual warehouse of Upstate Mental Health supports. Recent assessments of low-income adults indicate that limited access to mental health services and the growing opioid epidemic are two of the greatest concerns in the county. Greenville, South Carolina continues to receive national and international recognition for its southern charm, opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, arts scene, sports culture, and cuisine. Greenville has been lauded by The New York Times as one of the 52 cities in the world to visit, by USA Today as one of the 10 best emerging destinations, and as one of America’s ten best downtowns for its combination of revitalized commercial and park space. Greenville is located at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains. **This position is eligible for an annual housing stipend of $600 paid to the landlord and for a membership to a specific gym facility.

Member Duties : This position is based at MHAGC in Greenville, SC. This individual will develop capacity for the the health system's behavioral health programming. This role include grant research and writing, social media and marketing, and outreach/
