TSF Research, Evaluation, and Data Specialist (CSP)

The Sanneh Foundation (TSF) is a Minnesota based 501(c)3 created to serve the holistic youth development needs of Twin Cities youth. TSF’s mission is to empower youth by providing leadership skill development and social emotional mentoring, improve lives by supporting and promoting educational attainment through in-school and after-school programming, and unite communities by advancing diversity, cross-cultural competency, and community inclusivity. TSF is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to serve as a Research, Evaluation and Data VISTA. The central role of the Research, Evaluation and Data VISTA is to assist TSF in developing and implementing sustainable methodology of research, evaluation, and data practices throughout organizational departments (Advancement Office, Administrative Office, Dreamline, and Conway Community Center) and to support capacity building of TSF’s positive youth development programs. The central goal of the Research, Evaluation, and Data VISTA is to streamline and strengthen TSF’s research and evaluation practices and to build sustainable, cohesive methods and practices of evaluation across organizational departments and programs. As a VISTA with TSF, you will be in an important capacity building role within our dynamic and fast moving organization that serves the diverse youth of the Twin Cities Metro Area. Be prepared to make a positive difference in the lives of youth who depend on us! This position is part of the City of St. Paul VISTA Cohort. This cohort provides a learning community of 20 fellow VISTA members all serving within Saint Paul. We provide bi-weekly professional development training and additional support throughout the year.

Member Duties : Research, Evaluation, and Data VISTA Activities: Implement and support ongoing research and evaluation collection techniques a. Assist in implementing and assessing survey procedures b. Establish program baselines using youth program quality assessments and program/department specific tools alongside the REG Manager c. Coordinate with external partners to collect accurate demographic, academic, attendance, and behavioral program attendee and funder data d. Develop a sustainable research, evaluation, and data support system Develop and implement data collection/analysis organizational wide with TSF’s CRM, Tableau, and additional software programs Create a sustainable data collection process a. Start the three month process of training in pilot team for Salesforce or Tableau b. Import all data from pre-existing data collection software into Salesforce
