2017 Foundation and Donor Strategy Coordinator (826 NYC)
 
 
 
826 National will work with AmeriCorps*VISTA members to build the organization’s capacity to serve under-resourced students in seven urban areas across the country where we have writing/tutoring centers (San Francisco, Ann Arbor/Detroit, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago and New York). AmeriCorps*VISTA members will also work at the 826 National office in San Francisco to provide vital infrastructure and support to those seven direct-service centers. AmeriCorps*VISTA members will create new systems and enhance current efforts related to volunteer recruitment, training, and retention; support development and marketing activities; and support in-school and on-site program and program expansion efforts to broaden access for under-resourced students in these cities.

Member Duties : VISTA member will work with development department, development committee, and marketing committee to concept and plan quarterly cultivation events with a focus on tracking outcomes. Improve and maintain systems in place to implement foundation support strategy. Member will also Create major gift management system. Coordinate the communication needs of the different departments and evaluate the best methods of reaching the proper audience
