2017 Research & Evaluation Coordinator (826 National)
 
 
 
826 National will work with AmeriCorps*VISTA members to build the organization’s capacity to serve under-resourced students (ages 6-18) in seven urban areas across the country where we have writing/tutoring centers and provide homework assistance (San Francisco, Ann Arbor/Detroit, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago and New York). Additionally, 826 National will deploy AmeriCorps*VISTA members to work directly in our centers to provide for the sustainability of volunteer recruitment, training, and retention efforts; conduct development activities, and support in-school and on-site program and program expansion efforts to provide field trips, scholarships and summer programs for under-resourced youth.

Member Duties : Assist with creation of monthly Research & Evaluation newsletter to be shared across staff in the network to connect our programming to current educational climate and ensure we are responding as is needed. Member will build and refine resources to support chapters’ use of evaluation system and understanding of their data. Member will also Support development and coordination of additional evaluation metrics and tools to provide insight into programming trends and to generate content for reporting out.
