Member Duties : 3 VISTA members will conduct introductory site visits with partner schools/tutoring sites and parent support organization in assigned regions, to meet principals, site coordinators, teachers, administrators, “Lead” tutors, parent leaders, and tutors. VISTA will assess the school’s needs for JCL’s volunteer reading tutors and make sure an effective sign-in/identification system is in place for JCL tutors. Members will also develop effective methods to track student progress and parent/community engagement. Serve as community liaison and advocate for the development of sustainable community partnerships. VISTA members will coordinate parent and volunteer events to increase participation and lead to increased student success. Data Tracking: Utilize Salesforce database to track metrics, including the number of students, parents, and volunteers who participate in the projects.
