Mercy Housing Lakefront’s mission is to create stable, vibrant and healthy communities by developing and operating affordable, program-enriched housing for families, seniors and people with special needs who lack the economic resources to access quality, safe housing opportunities. To create a volunteer program that engages individuals, foundations, businesses and faith congregations to provide health, education and economic resources to the families and individuals served by Mercy Housing Lakefront. Therefore, providing additional opportunities to improve the health and economic stability of our residents.

Member Duties : Volunteer Program Coordinator VISTA will: (1) Assess the service need within MHL’s building and develop a volunteer program (including policies, procedures and documents based on those needs that will effectively engage corporate, individual and faith based partners. (2) Implement volunteer program by marketing program and building partnerships with community organizations to recruit 40 volunteers.
