PAVE New Haven is seeking outstanding individuals committed to furthering educational equity and economic empowerment to serve as AmeriCorps VISTA Members with one of our dynamic partner organizations in New Haven, Connecticut! PAVE (Projects Advancing Vitality and Equity) New Haven is an AmeriCorps VISTA project dedicated to furthering educational equity and financial empowerment in New Haven, CT. PAVE VISTA members serve full-time with partner organizations around the city of New Haven, focused on furthering these goals. PAVE assignments promote youth empowerment, financial literacy, and access to educational opportunities and support by building the capacity of organizations to improve and expand programs, increase effectiveness, and create sustainable solutions. PAVE VISTA members receive ongoing support from our staff and VISTA Leaders, and participate in monthly PAVE cohort meetings and service events. We encourage our VISTAs to take advantage of the professional development opportunities we provide, and to pursue additional opportunities of interest that enhance their VISTA experience. Where PAVE VISTA members serve: Squash Haven, Peabody Museum of Natural History, St. Martin de Porres Academy, Artspace, Inc., Dwight Hall Center for Public Service and Social Justice, Agency on Aging of South Central CT, and more!
