The Eberly College of Arts and Sciences is one of WVU’s oldest Colleges and is WVU’s largest and most diverse college. The College includes the fields of Philosophy, Gender Studies, Communication Studies, Sociology, Chemistry, Forensics, Geology, Geography, Physics and many others. The College’s curriculum provides for much of the general education for all WVU undergraduate students, as well as providing the foundation for students studying in other colleges such as engineering, agriculture, medicine and law. Faculty and leaders of the college aspire to educate students to think critically, act ethically, and communicate effectively. The College is committed to the university’s tradition of excellence in education, scholarship, and service to the people of West Virginia.

Member Duties : This position will involve assisting in strategic planning related to faculty/student involvement in health and community development efforts, providing technical assistance to faculty on service-learning and engaged scholarship strategies, partnership development, event planning, grant writing, and evaluation. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop management and leadership skills while enhancing the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences efforts to carry out the land grant mission of service to West Virginia, the nation, and beyond.
