2017 John Marshall Law School Legal Clinic

The John Marshall Fair Housing Legal Clinic is dedicated to providing legal assistance to private or public organizations that seek to eliminate discriminatory housing practices. The Fair Housing Legal Clinic has served thousands of clients in the Chicago Metropolitan Area who have been denied housing because of discrimination under Federal, State, and Local Fair Housing laws and ordinances. The partnership with The Fair Housing Legal Clinic and the Housing Action VISTA Network will empower the community partners, NGOs and government agencies with the information necessary to have a thorough understanding of the legal services provided by the Fair Housing Legal Clinic. This project is the first step in building enduring capacity by ensuring that the pipeline for fair housing cases to the Fair Housing Legal Clinic is strengthened through knowledge in the community.
