FSR - Volunteer Services Design Specialist (MAVA)

As the VISTA Volunteer Services Design Specialist you work as part of a small team focused on helping older adults and persons with disabilities to maintain independent living in a safe, healthy, and happy environment. Much of our work is carried out through the deployment of volunteers who are managed by staff. Family Service Rochester’s mission is to support and enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and families in our community. To that end FSR partners with people to address life’s challenges in every stage of their journey. Celebrating 52 years, FSR delivers services through more than 30 programs in SE MN with 100 full and part-time staff. Other bonuses: diverse colleagues, monthly all staff training with LUNCH provided, travel reimbursement, and housing assistance of $100 per month paid to your landlord. FSR is seen as a leader in the nonprofit community and is part of a large network with connections to people across business, government, community groups and nonprofits. Training, mentoring from seasoned professionals, and education are part of the FSR experience. There are opportunities to be part of creative projects.
