2017 Chicago Lawyers Commitee for Civil Rights
 
 
 
The Chicago area is one of the most segregated in the country. The VISTA will work with the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee’s Fair Housing Project to improve its efforts to educate others about fair housing rights and remedies and encourage them to complain about discrimination, which will reduce discrimination and foster integration. The VISTA will work with Chicago Lawyers’ Committee (CLCCR) & Fair Housing Project (FHP) staff to develop and implement community outreach and communications plans, which will increase visibility of CLC & the FHP and fair housing knowledge.

Member Duties : Work with FHP staff to revise its community outreach plan and begin to implement the new plan. Implement outreach plan and revise as needed. Work with CLCCR Development & External Affairs and FHP staff to develop and implement a communications plan to improve CLCCR and FHP’s visibility.
