MAVA VISTA Leader

MAVA provides a respected, energetic voice for volunteerism across Minnesota and the country. We are a statewide nonprofit association and our mission is inspiring excellence in the leadership of volunteers to impact communities. We do this through the capacity building work of our AmeriCorps VISTA and Service Enterprise programs, by conducting original research around volunteerism, advocating for the field of volunteer engagement, leading professional development opportunities, and creating a forum for communication and resource sharing for people in the field. As the VISTA Leader for MAVA, you will receive your certification in volunteer leadership, learn about the evolving field of volunteer engagement, and collaborate with local and national leaders in this area. You’ll contribute your creativity to a small, fun nonprofit and develop your leadership skills with the support of a dedicated supervisor and build your professional network by interacting with our active volunteer board, 600+ member organizations, and VISTA host sites statewide. You’ll also attend numerous professional development opportunities throughout the year.
