Free Clinics -- Hartville Migrant Clinic Summer VISTA (1)
 
 
 
The Hartville Migrant Clinic (HMC), the oldest standing free clinic in Ohio, exists to support the mind, body, and soul of the migrant community in and around Stark County by providing preventive health and acute care. HMC is seeking a Summer Associate to verify patient data gathered by a previous Summer Associate and develop a new database for tracking patient visits during this season. This will allow us to better care for our patients by tracking unduplicated patients, monitoring what their chief complaint was, and determining what type of plan of care was given.

Member Duties : The Summer Associate will provide assistance via data entry and database creation that contributes to the comprehensive medical care provided through the Hartville Migrant Clinic (HMC). The Summer Associate will work with the Medical Director to create and implement a form for tracking patient visits and patient information. They will also create a database and compile statistics regarding tuberculosis and diabetes among our patients to track and improve patient health outcomes.
