Y.O.U. Out-Of-School Partnerships Assistant VISTA

Join Youth & Opportunity United as a VISTA! Youth & Opportunity United provides free after school programming in the Evanston, Skokie and Morton Grove community. We understand that while all youth have the potential to succeed, not all youth have access to resources and opportunities to do so. At Y.O.U. it is our mission to “close the opportunity gap by preparing youth for post-secondary and life success”! The Out-Of-School Partnerships Assistant helps to establish and sustain partnerships with community organizations in order to expose Y.O.U. youth enrolled in elementary and middle school OST programs at schools sites and off-site locations to additional community resources and opportunities. Such partnerships will help build the four components shown to be the foundations necessary for young adult success - self-regulation, knowledge and skills, mindsets, and values.
