Free Clinics -- Victory Ministries Summer VISTA
 
 
 
Victory Ministries Center (VM) Center of Hope is a faith-based community resource center serving the needs of low-income residents of Central Ohio since 1983. The Center of Hope serves the community with a choice pantry, free clothing boutique, free medical clinic, mental health counseling, and education, chaplain, and employment services. Our mission is to break poverty's cycle by addressing the physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual needs of disadvantaged families in Central Ohio. We are seeking a Summer Associate to assist in the development of new systems to track and update patient information and outcomes. The Summer Associate will work with VM staff to evaluate our current patient tracking systems and implement a new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

Member Duties : The Summer Associate will work with staff in our different departments at Victory Ministries to learn about the services we provide and how they support the health and wellness of our free clinic patients. The Summer Associate will then work with staff in the free clinic to develop more effective processes for tracking patient information and charts by researching our existing systems and working to implement a new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
