| Member Duties : AmeriCorps Turnaround Teaching Artists will work in teams of three to design and implement engaging 2-week summer projects based in the CityArts Design Thinking process. Daily tasks for members include:
--Working independently and as a team to develop and implement project-based arts curriculum for CityArts Design Thinking programs.
--Exploring how design, science, technology, engineering and math can be combined in project-based learning workshops to deepen problem solving and leadership abilities within CityArts youth ages 8-14.
--Attending all training sessions.
--Attending reflection sessions to support the member’s professional growth.
--Mentoring students.
--Collaborating with fellow teaching artists.
--Collecting and documenting student work and progress using CityArts tools/instruments.
--Submitting great stories and time sheet reports on a regular and timely basis.
