ShareCorps - Lodi Family Center - Summer Associate

Lodi Family Center’s theme is: “Families Serving Families”. We provide a safe and fun place for families in our community to help their neighbors. By offering free, fun and safe activities, we offer families the opportunity to develop a support system of other parents that they can rely on in a time of need. In 2016, our programs served 1,181 unduplicated people 8,069 times. We also served 16,072 meals/snacks and distributed close to 150,000 pounds of fresh, canned and frozen foods through our pantry. The Akron Canton Foodbank estimated that the food sent home provided families 88,645 meals. PROGRAMS: THE 5-18 CLUB: This program offers youth 18 and under are provided a free, safe, supervised place to get off the streets.
