Washington Campus Compact VISTA Leader

Washington Campus Compact is a statewide consortium of higher education institutions that advance the public purposes of colleges and universities, to help students become engaged leaders in their communities, and to strengthen communities. Members of the WACC VISTA team develop and increase the capacity of campus-community partnerships by leveraging campus resources and community assets to address the critical issues of education and food security. Join the Washington Campus Compact (WACC) VISTA Program in supporting a statewide team of 14 VISTAs as they navigate growing the capacity of anti-poverty programs built through university/college and community organization partnerships. Drawing on your previous AmeriCorps, VISTA or Peace Corps experience, you will cultivate the professional and personal development of VISTAs across the state. You will be based in the WACC office on Western Washington University's campus in the "City of Subdued Excitement," Bellingham, Washington. **Please note: You must have served a full term as either AmeriCorps/NCCC member, VISTA member or Peace Corps Volunteer.
