2017 Dental Center Marketing & Outreach

Dental Care is the number one unmet health need for children. We serve more than 10,000 children each year and we need your help to make our community a better place for them. Through your efforts, we hope to reach more patients, especially families with children. Good oral health is associated with improved school performance.For adults, dental care is critical for good overall health, as it has been linked to pre-term birth, difficulty in controlling blood sugars and overall health. Dental pain is a leading cause of ER Vists and has doubled over recent years. MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH US! The Dental Center is a large non-profit dental practice serving 18 Northwest Ohio counties. Last year, 25,000 children, families and individuals received quality, affordable dental care at one of our four locations or our mobile dental program. Since 1910, the mission of the Dental Center has been to: * Provide primary oral health services for underserved children and adults in Northwest Ohio. * Promote the value of good oral health through education. * Serve as an advocate for those with limited access to dental care. In addition to direct oral health services, we offer care management and outreach programs for those with extensive needs. We partner with numerous other social service agencies and funders to ensure quality service delivery.

Member Duties : Expand the community’s understanding of Dental Center services by creating content across the website and social media platforms, marketing materials and conducting community outreach. Execute marketing plan in coordination with other staff and outside vendors. Member will also work with community partners to market services. Member will also assist in the creation of community advisory councils at each of our three locations.
