The Breathing Association was founded as the Tuberculosis Society in 1906. For the last 110 years, we have provided medical care, with a focus on lung health, to low-income and under-served patients. Today, we currently provide under-insured and uninsured patients medical care with a focus on pulmonary health, combined with a utility assistance program and COPD, asthma outreach programs. Our mission is to help people breathe easier, one person at a time, through education, detection, care and treatment. We are seeking a VISTA Member to help expand our presence in the community by building on the visual communication tools developed by a previous VISTA Member. The incoming VISTA Member will utilize our new communications calendar to share our mission through social media, fundraising collateral campaigns, newsletters, and our website. The VISTA Member will also research grant opportunities and community relationships.

Member Duties : Research additional grant opportunities for The Breathing Association. Increase our web presence by developing content for and promoting our services on social media. Participate in managing marketing calendar for social media, web, print, and e news Create comprehensive marketing collateral for various appeal campaigns and fundraising events from inception to execution
