Member Duties : Keep Austin Housed members serve approximately 40 hours per week at their service site. General hours are M-F 9-5, with some weekend projects required. Members will assist with existing case management services by providing more intensive support and life skills training to address specific housing, employment and personal stability barriers, helping the client make significant, lasting changes in their situation. Activities will be determined by the needs and goals of each client. AmeriCorps members assess for client needs, develop action plans to meet goals, and provide guidance as clients work towards self-sufficiency.
