CHARISM - Organizational Evaluation VISTA
 
 
 
CHARISM has been building stronger neighborhoods by building stronger people in Fargo, ND since 1994. We are able to work towards achieving this by providing educational and enriching out of school time programming for low income children, mentorship programs to reengage at risk youth with their education, provide basic necessities and fight food insecurity through our family grocery assistance program, and provide community resource connection supports to families in need. At CHARISM – Kids excel. Youth get on track, Families flourish The overall goal of the project is to increase our organizational capacity so we are able to deliver effective programs that create lasting results within the community. A phrase we have been using is “Deepening our roots to expand our reach”. The intended result of this project is to be able to develop an effective evaluation system so we are able to track our participant's successes and our overall organizational effectiveness. By having a proper evaluation system in place this allows us to share our impacts with the community, increasing our potential for new opportunities in the future.

Member Duties : The Organizational Evaluation VISTA will coordinate and oversee evaluations for the organization. Overseeing the implementation of the evaluation system, ensuring that the programs are running effectively and delivering CHARISM's mission. Responsibilities: Align proposal strategies, goals, objectives, and work plans with CHARISM frameworks that support high performance and achievement of results - Assess current processes, identify areas of improvement, implement streamlined procedures - Develop an effective evaluation plan and implementation plan. Organize, interpret, and present data findings. - Conduct evaluations and interviews with participants, staff, Board of Directors, volunteers and partners. - Showcase positive stories to staff and general public via email, newsletter, or social media.
