Member Duties : - Recruit volunteers and prepare them for service by ensuring their eligibility for service; volunteers will mentor, provide academic advising, college application assistance.
- Scheduling volunteers
- Provide oversight of hours and quality of volunteers’ service, training and development activities and plan recognition events. Will also be responsible for assisting with program assessment.
- Provide instruction to volunteers on mentoring best practices in weekly mentoring recitations
- Plan and coordinate College Access related events for the university.
- Documenting and monitoring mentor/mentee relationships
- Serve as a liaison with the University’s and community-based college access programs.
- Lead a group of Rutgers Bonner Leader student volunteers providing training, educational opportunities, and skill building workshops.
- Responsible for AmeriCorps reporting
- Assist in completing quarterly progress reports
