Clark County Food Bank

We partner with over 35 local agencies and programs to serve the food insecure in our community. This project supports the Food Bank's mission to "alleviate hunger and its root causes". The VISTA project, Farming Practices and Volunteer Coordination, is entering the second year and will continue to build on developing a sustainable seed to harvest system for low-income resident participation. New development involves researching and putting into action a transportation system for food and the expansion of farmer's market outreach to increase fresh produce donated.
