JRA Mentor Outreach - HSC
Mentors are the Stuff of Success. Every young person needs a mentor - a dependable adult who will care, will listen, and will advise. Ask any successful person if they had a mentor and their answer will inevitably be “yes”. Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA) mission is to increase juvenile offender's options for successful re-entry to their community from the juvenile institution by pairing them with a caring adult. Mentors make a difference in helping young people entangled with the justice system progress to confident, competent, responsible citizenship. Mentors help youth transitioning from our juvenile residential facilities set goals, empower them to help recognize his/her individual talents and offers guidance and support to help the youth lead a drug and crime free lifestyle.
