Cornerstone - Promise House - Community Resource Coord VISTA

Are you passionate about helping at-risk children and teens in your community? So are we! Promise House runs seven programs that provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, pregnant and parenting teen services, counseling, medical care and education to homeless and runaway youth ages 0-24. Since our founding in 1984, we have served more than 70,000 children, teens and families. Because 98% of our clients come from low to poverty-level income backgrounds, all of our services are free. We are seeking a Community Resource Coordinator to join our external affairs team, and help us raise awareness and vitally needed funds to support our clients. He or she will be responsible for forming and sustaining new relationships with community partners, soliciting volunteers and donations, establishing new protocols, donations processing and training staff on their use. A local candidate with their own vehicle and experience in public speaking and customer service is preferred.
