Member Duties : Under the guidance of the Youth Director the Volunteer and Greenhouse Program Coordinator will implement volunteer recruitment efforts in the community. Enhance onboarding, placement and appreciation processes. Identify opportunities within current programs and how volunteers could be utilized. Based on this report, make a plan for improvement. Implement improvements through expanding total volunteer base through volunteer outreach and appreciation. Develop system to identify volunteer skill sets, passions, abilities and experience to best meet the needs of the Y, programs and the volunteer. Research and establish a system that creates a culture of volunteerism within the Y with an emphasis an appreciation.
Lead the efforts of creation of agriculture and gardening curriculum to meet program needs. Establish and maintain partnerships within the greenhouse and our strategic plan.
