DeltaCorps- The College Initiative

Are you ready to make an impact? The College Initiative, in partnership with DeltaCorps, a program of AmeriCorps and the Delta Regional Authority, is seeking self-motivated applicants to provide low-income high school students in rural Arkansas and Memphis, Tennessee, with financial wellness services for future college success and financial independence. Members will serve a vital role as Financial Literacy Coaches. Financial Literacy Coaches will engage with students through a financial wellness curriculum. The goal of this program is to empower students in the Delta Region to make informed decisions during the college search process and into their post-secondary careers. An adequate financial understanding is imperative to economic self-sufficiency, and developing these habits during high school will help reinforce positive behaviors and attitudes for future success.
