The RRP is a new nonprofit organization committed to building a better Racine through the social , physical, and economic revitalization of neighborhoods. The focus neighborhood for 2016-2019 is Uptown Racine. The RRP structure connects nonprofit organizations committed to affordable housing and economic development with neighborhood residents, local government and private sector representatives. Member Duties : The VISTA member will assist local job training and pre-apprenticeship programs to generate employment opportunities that provide project-based learning and skill development for training participants. He/she will establish partnerships with residents, businesses, and community organizations and law enforcement to promote the goals and objectives of RRP and incorporate the activities of collaborative organizations. The VISTA will help in increasing the financial capacity of RRP through assisting in the development and implementation of a marketing and communication plan.
