Member Duties : - Provide Emergency Food Assistance to over 4,000 households annually to increase food security through our 2 Trenton food pantries and Princeton food pantry.
- Coordinate volunteers, assist clients with shopping and maintain food inventory.
- Provide education regarding SNAP benefits to more than 200 food pantry visitors in a year, as well as conduct pre- screening and enrollment applications for at least 50 clients in a year.
- Arm In Arm is active in the New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids, and The Trenton Healthy Food Network. Our AmeriCorps Member will attend key meetings, and participate in these partnerships.
- Assist in completing quarterly progress reports.
