| Member Duties : • Work directly with Elijah’s Promise administration team on the coordination of volunteer opportunities and services.
• Ensure that meal counts are carried out and inputted into Elijah’s Promise databases.
• Assist the social services team in assisting clients and distributing goods.
• Working with youth volunteer groups and speaking to public school students about food security and Elijah’s Promise mission.
• Engage guests of the soup kitchen and help them with matters pertaining to food and connecting them with social service staff
• Program special events and celebrations for guests at the soup kitchen throughout the year under the direction of the Soup Kitchen Manager.
• Engage volunteers serving at the soup kitchen, including leading activities, preparing handouts, and coordinating volunteer opportunities with Elijah’s Promise staff to be posted on the agency website
