MISSION: Generation One’s mission is to physically and spiritually transform the Third Ward community by creating an environment of opportunity which empowers individuals and families to break the cycle of generational poverty. VISION: Generation One’s vision is to reduce generational poverty by the power of hope and use of social-emotional learning in early childhood development.

Member Duties : • Build out policies and procedures surrounding the grant pipeline process • Research possible additions to the grant pipeline for the next year • Edit grants produced by the grant writer • Gather research and documentation needed to produce the complete grant application • Write and produce grants • Be a team member on the Development team o Assist with upcoming development events o Assist with building relationships with donors and prospects o Update Salesforce (donor/partner management system) for knowledge of Sales Force to track Generation One grant writing activities o Assist in developing and implementing the End of Year Campaign
