Inspiring Futures VISTA - Boise, ID
The Idaho Department of Labor’s Inspiring Futures VISTA Project seeks to build capacity of local communities around college and career advising. The VISTA will serve as the liaison between the communities in their area, state agencies and stakeholders in an effort to increase communication and implement college and career readiness goals. The VISTA will also develop a volunteer database of local businesses willing to assist their local schools with college and career development through a variety of activities including: career fairs, mentoring, job shadowing & classroom presentations. The VISTA position is a full-time, one-year commitment serving Boise, Twin Falls and their surrounding communities.
