Member Duties : The VISTA dedicated to marketing and outreach will focus on creating marketing materials, fliers, and informational sheets for use in promoting the College Bound Program. They will work closely with our local schools and newspapers (along with other media outlets) to generate publicity. Additionally, they will seek new relationships with other youth-serving agencies in Kootenai County to plan approaches, present the details of the College Bound Program to interested parties, and secure arrangements to build "College Corners" in various locations throughout the community. Once they have secured new locations for "College Corners," they will assist with the set up of the physical program space, work with organizations on special requirements, and set up onsite promotion -- all in the hopes of recruiting new participants to the College Bound Program.
