Global Game Changers Curriculum & Program VISTA

Global Game Changers is a nonprofit organization whose Discover Your Superpower programs use our Superhero Equation: MY TALENT + MY HEART = MY SUPERPOWER! to cultivate each child's individual connection to giving back. We do so through a compassion based, Pre-K – 5th grade, Common Core State Standards compliant curriculum that empowers kids to make the world a better place! Our curricula use philanthropy as a tool to improve engagement and achievement. Our curricula are used in schools, afterschool, camp programs, and one-day workshops. They are designed to inspire a lifetime of compassion and civic engagement, while improving self-esteem, academic achievement, and children’s knowledge of both their responsibility and their ability to make a difference, no matter who they are or where they come from. We focus our efforts on at-risk students and neighborhoods. The VISTA project will support the development, expansion, and evaluation of our programs in order to prepare young students for lives of success, service, and happiness.

Member Duties : The Curriculum & Program Facilitator VISTA will support program implementations through training, assessment, review, and piloting in order to ensure long-term sustainability of programs. S/he will build the capacity of Global Game Changers and partner organizations to implement the curriculum to achieve maximum impact. S/he will tailor curriculum assets to suit individual programs and work with the staff to develop a universal curriculum for use at any site. S/he will act as primary VISTA liaison with a major GGC program partner to support the relationship and meet the needs of the partner as related to the program.
