Neighborhood Associations Resource Builder
 
 
 
Many veteran neighborhood leaders are looking for succession plans, future leaders, and ways to reinvigorate their neighborhood organizations. The Neighborhood Associations Resource Builder will help address poverty in this VISTA assignment by assisting neighborhood groups generate interest, leadership, and volunteers to continue their community-building programs.

Member Duties : The Neighborhood Associations Resource Builder (NARB) will develop a recruitment and retention strategy for neighborhood groups. The NARB will also design a leadership training for new participants to the neighborhood groups. The NARB will also research grants and other resources for neighborhood groups and assist neighborhood groups build capacity for programs supporting low-income community members.
