St. Louis Promise Zone VISTA Leader
 
 
 
The Promise Zone AmeriCorps VISTAs will work with a coalition of community stakeholders to advance the goals of the Promise Zone with a focus on capacity building through data collection and evaluation, communications, and skill building. Specifically, the VISTAs will: (1) Develop ongoing data collection efforts across all Promise Zone committees, (2) Develop the infrastructure and protocols to disseminate information to anchor institutions, City leadership, businesses, area non-profits, philanthropic organizations, and the residents about impact and outcomes, (3) Develop professional development and training activities for implementation and support partners around data collection, evaluation, and racial equity.

Member Duties : The VISTA Leader will: (1) Facilitate and coordinate orientations and trainings for new VISTA members, and the close of service process for current VISTA members. (2) Maintain and improve the administrative aspects of the Promise Zone VISTA Network in order to ensure effective communication exists among all the current VISTA members and supervisors and a support network for the VISTA members. (3) Recruit and screen prospective VISTA members and VISTA host sites. (4) Assist with the development of professional development trainings.
