WACC- EvCC Guided Pathways Project Coordinator
 
 
 
Join the Washington Campus Compact (WACC) VISTA Project, a statewide team of 13 VISTAs who grow the capacity of anti-poverty programs built through university/college and community organization partnerships! The Project Coordinator for the Guided Pathways program will serve at Everett Community College’s Diversity & Equity Center and be tasked with networking, outreach and communication with the College’s existing and potential community partners serving low-income/first-gen/disadvantaged K-12 youth. Guided Pathways is an evidence-based approach that simplifies choices about college courses, informs and supports those choices and directs students into intentional, comprehensive program of study that leads to a credential, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty. *This position is based in Everett, WA.*

Member Duties : The VISTA member will be a catalyst in helping build a diverse, engaged coalition of community, business and secondary school professionals willing and able to support, promote, and contribute to implementation of the Guided Pathways project. The VISTA will build capacity for this project through outreach, establishing and strengthening partnerships, and playing an integral role in communications between stakeholders and the community for the program.
