Member Duties : Complete an asset map of how and where volunteers are currently serving in support of the campaign.
Identify gaps and opportunities to expand Philadelphia’s use of volunteers in support of the campaign.
Assess the volunteer engagement and management needs of campaign partners.
Assess the volunteer needs of our campaign partners.
Identify best practices for volunteer recruitment and engagement developed by other cities participating in the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading.
Work with staff and key stakeholders, create systems that would support better coordination and alignment of existing and future efforts.
Work with campaign stakeholders to develop simple systems to expand the capacity of existing programs to support coordination of new volunteers.
Develop systems for tracking inputs and outputs related to volunteer recruitment, engagement and service in Philadelphia and in support of the READ! by 4th campaign goals.
