Outreach Coordinator-MNUDL (CSP)

Mission: The mission of the Minnesota Urban Debate League is to empower students to become engaged learners, critical thinkers, and active citizens who are effective advocates for themselves and their communities. Who We Serve: The MNUDL serves 750 students in Minneapolis and St. Paul. In St. Paul partner schools include: Como Park, Central, Highland Park, Humboldt Jr/Sr., Murray, Highland Jr., Capitol Hill, Washington Technology, Johnson, Gordon Parks, and Laura Jeffrey Academy. The goal of this project is to build the capacity of the Minnesota Urban Debate League to serve more students in St. Paul and ensure that they graduate from high school with a plan for post-secondary education and career success. Through debate students use their voice, build power and change in their own life and their community. Students who participate in debate build social emotional skills as well as improve their academic skills. Our students are amazing and we are looking for someone to recruit and support volunteers to help them succeed.
