** MTCC - Girl Scouts of MT & WY – Bozeman

Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming is the Girl Scout organization for all of Montana and Wyoming, one of 112 such councils across the country. At GSMW, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls: develop their full individual potential, relate to others with increasing understanding, gain new skills, increase their self-respect and respect for differences in others, develop strong positive values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making, and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others. Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming works daily to develop leaders of today and tomorrow who make positive change in their communities. Girl Scouts makes this possible by engaging girls in three “keys” to leadership: 1) discovering themselves; 2) connecting with others; and 3) taking action in the world. Activities are girl-led and encourage experiential and cooperative learning; these processes promote the fun and friendship that have always been integral to Girl Scouting.
