** MTCC - HRDC IX - Community Cafe Summer Meals Program

The Gallatin Valley Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit Community Action Agency of Bozeman, MT dedicated to building a better community through innovation and leadership. We provide programs and services in the areas of Housing, Food & Nutrition, Child & Youth Development, Senior Empowerment, Community Transportation, Home Heating–Energy–Safety, and Community Development. The mission of the HRDC’s Emergency Food and Nutrition Initiatives is to improve food security throughout the Gallatin Valley. Our Summer Lunch Program provides nutritionally-balanced meals to area children during the summer months when free or reduced-price school meals are not available. Summer Associates work alongside HRDC program staff by preparing meals at our Community Café and then transporting, serving meals, and supervising learning activities at their respective lunch site. This project will increase these efforts and provide youth with increased access to healthy meals. To learn more about HRDC, visit: www.thehrdc.org
